Full Description:

The Learning Disabilities Association of New Jersey, based in Towaco, is sponsoring a conference on March 6th, 2009 at the Sheraton, Eatontown. "Excellence In Education: Children First" will feature Dr. Larry Silver, internationally-known pediatric psychiatrist, who will speak on " It May Not Be JUST LD". Other sessions will include: Universal Design for Learning ( UDL), Inclusion Strategies for Students with Autism, Transition from High School to Adult Life, Executive Function, and High Stakes Testing. This conference is of benefit to general and special education teachers, administrators, parents, and adults with Learning Disabilities.
