Fall Play takes audience to NYC
Rawan Eewshah, MTHS Senior
This year’s fall play at Montville Township High School will be a remake of the 1936 winning comedic play, You Can’t Take It With You. The play takes place in an eccentric household in New York City, and centers around two families; the quirky Sycamores, and the gloomy Kirbys. The two families are brought together when the Sycamore’s daughter, Alice, falls in love with the Kirby’s son, Tony. The fun begins when Tony brings his family to have dinner at the Sycamores’ household, and everyone has a wild, unexpected evening. Directing the play will be Mary Gormley, and assisting will be Michael Shera. The play is set to take place in the Montville Township High School auditorium on November 2nd and 3rd at 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the "MTHS Stage" link on the school's website (www.montville.net), or in the school's rotunda hallway.
