The Montville Township High School Field Corps, under the direction of Ken Korlishin, will be hosting its third annual marching band competition. The Mustang Classic, a festival of music and pageantry sanctioned by the United States Scholastic Band Association, will take place under the lights at the MTHS football field, 100 Horseneck Road, on Saturday, October 13 starting at 4:45 PM; gates open at 4:00PM. Sixteen marching bands from throughout the state, featuring over 1200 student musicians and color guard, will be competing. All are welcome to this exciting event. General admission is $10, student admission $5, children under 5 free. Free parking, handicap accessible, food available at extra cost.
